Advertisers are promoted both offline and online in any given area for a 12 month term.

The standard advertising package includes:

> Category-exclusive, full colour advertisement on the KEEP ME Card for that area for 12 months.

> Category-exclusive promotional feature on the WeAreLocal website for 12 months.

> Category-exclusive advertising promotion via the WeAreLocal Facebook page 4 times during the 12 month term.

WeAreLocal specialises in helping trusted, independent tradespeople and service providers to grow their business with residents and small businesses in their local area – and our mission is to encourage people to BUY LOCAL to help bring communities together, which this has never been more important than now.

We also ensure that all the tradespeople we promote via the KEEP ME Card and the WeAreLocal Website and Facebook page meet certain standards – including being genuinely local to the area, with a minimum of 5 years trading, VAT registration and a very good reputation via CheckATrade, TrustATrader or other recognised review platforms.

We are however open to consider new categories and recently had a request from a local company that specialises in antibacterial/antiviral deep-cleaning of residential properties and business premises, for example.

Yes.  There is a limit of one advert per category in any given KEEP ME Card area, so we can only promote 1 plumber per area for example.  But there is no limit on the number of areas in which a Tradesperson can advertise.

Each KEEP ME Card carries 12 full colour advertising spots and the dimensions are 130mm width x 28mm height.   

You are welcome to provide camera-ready, HiRes artwork yourself or we can produce the advertisement for you for a small additional charge. Learn More here.

We use the Royal Mail so each KEEP ME Card is individually hand-delivered through the letterbox by the local postman along with other post.

It is important to stress that the KEEP ME Card is a designed to last and be kept by the recipients, so it is printed to a very high quality on thick card – and it is delivered “solus” (i.e. on its own), not with a bunch of cheap, flimsy leaflets from local pizza delivery places or Indian restaurants!
